NMDC DAV PRIVATE INDUSTRIAL TRAINING INSTITUTE is managed by DAV College Trust & Management Society which is a charitable organization. This society was registered under the society’s registration Act 1885. Since its inception it has played a vital role in the field of education & cultural upliftment. It is the biggest Non-Government organization now in India and covers the entire spectrum of educational activities all over the country.
NMDC DAV Private I INDUSTRIAL TRAINING INSTITUTE Nagarnar was established in year 2010 with 02 trades Mason and Welder for providing technical education and skill development of local and tribal students, with 36 seats.

The institute is affiliated by National Council on Vocational Training (NCVT), New Delhi and approved by Directorate of Employment and Training (DE & T), Chhattisgarh. The courses are of duration 1 year. National Trade Certificate - Nationally & internationally recognized under the aegis of National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) is awarded to successful trainees.

DAV Industrial Training Centre is fully funded by NMDC Iron and Steel Plant Nagarnar and all the recurring and non recurring expenditures are borne by the sponsoring project. Also, the financial resources required for Management and running of the training centre are provided by NMDC Iron and Steel Plant Nagarnar to the DAV CMC, New Delhi every year.
